For banks, MFIs and cooperatives
Lend on records, not on stories
Small merchants who keep their book here can choose to share it with you. You read a trading record, weigh it against your own criteria, and leave a written decision behind.
What you get
Consent first, always
You see a merchant only after they have shared, for a purpose they agreed and can withdraw.
A record you can read
Trading history, credit behaviour and stock movement, presented the same way for every applicant.
Your rules, not ours
Set the criteria your committee already uses, and see how an applicant sits against them.
One desk for the team
Seats, watchlists and a shared queue, so an application does not live in one officer's inbox.
Auditable decisions
Who looked, what they saw and what they decided — kept, timestamped and exportable.
Access is by the merchant's written consent, given for a stated purpose and withdrawable. GEMJO does not lend, does not take deposits, and never scores a merchant on your behalf without your own criteria.
GEMJO is not a bank or a lender and does not promise credit. It helps you prepare a lender-ready record; the lender decides.
Pricing
One price does not fit every market
A one-table shop in Kano and a bank in Nairobi do not buy the same thing. Tell us what you run and where, and a person answers with a figure that fits — in your own money, from the wallet you already use.
- We quote for your size: one shop, a chain of shops, a wholesaler, or an institution.
- Pay from the mobile wallet or bank your market already uses.
- Stop any month. Your records stay yours, and you can take them with you.
This is a request to talk, not an offer or a contract. Nothing is charged until you agree a written quote. GEMJO keeps records and makes introductions; it is not a bank, a lender or a deposit-taker.
