For wholesalers and distributors
Sell into demand you can see
Shops post what they are short of this week. You answer with your price and your terms, both sides agree in writing, and the delivery and the money are recorded in the same book.
What you get
Real needs, not guesses
Requests come from shops keeping a live book, so you answer demand that already exists.
Quote and settle the price
Send your price, take the shop's counter-offer, and close it where both sides can see it.
Deliver against a record
What was ordered, what arrived and what was short — written down by both sides, not remembered differently.
Terms in writing
Payment terms agreed up front and tracked to the day, so a debt does not become an argument.
Reach beyond your route
Shops outside your usual round can find you, in the languages they actually speak.
GEMJO carries the request, the quote and the record. The agreement is between you and the shop; GEMJO is not a party to it and does not guarantee payment.
GEMJO introduces shops and suppliers to each other. It does not buy, sell, hold, deliver or guarantee goods, and it is not a party to your trade or your payment.
Pricing
One price does not fit every market
A one-table shop in Kano and a bank in Nairobi do not buy the same thing. Tell us what you run and where, and a person answers with a figure that fits — in your own money, from the wallet you already use.
- We quote for your size: one shop, a chain of shops, a wholesaler, or an institution.
- Pay from the mobile wallet or bank your market already uses.
- Stop any month. Your records stay yours, and you can take them with you.
This is a request to talk, not an offer or a contract. Nothing is charged until you agree a written quote. GEMJO keeps records and makes introductions; it is not a bank, a lender or a deposit-taker.
